Biography

Clara Sandroni is a Brazilian singer and musician who emerged in the early 1980s.

Discovered by the renowned Milton Nascimento, Sandroni quickly established herself in the Brazilian music scene. Her career began in 1981, initially in a duo with her brother Carlos Sandroni, who is also a musician and composer. She also participated in the group Terças e Quintas and the Olhos nos Olhos choir. Her debut solo album, the self-titled "Clara Sandroni," was released in 1984, marking the beginning of a solo career that would see her release several albums.

Throughout her career, Sandroni has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Al Di Meola, Paulo Moura, and Milton Nascimento himself, with whom she recorded "A Primeira Estrela." She has performed internationally, including in Cuba and France, and received critical acclaim, being awarded Best Singer of 1987 by the APCA (Association of Art Critics of São Paulo). Sandroni has also pursued academic endeavors, holding degrees in Music and teaching popular singing.
