Maria Claudia Motta Raia, known professionally as Claudia Raia, is a celebrated Brazilian actress, dancer, and theatrical producer born in Campinas, São Paulo. She began her artistic career as a professional ballet dancer, studying in the United States and Argentina before achieving widespread fame in national television and musical theater. Her breakout television role came in the hit telenovela Roque Santeiro, and she cemented her status as a versatile actress through acclaimed performances in major productions such as Rainha da Sucata, A Favorita, and Ti Ti Ti.
