Cláudio Jorge de Barros is a Brazilian guitarist, acoustic guitarist, composer, and singer closely associated with popular Brazilian music. Born in Rio de Janeiro on October 3, 1949, he has established himself as a notable figure within the national musical scene through his instrumental prowess and songwriting.

Throughout his career, Cláudio Jorge has contributed significantly to the samba and MPB traditions, collaborating with various artists and composers. In 2008, his talent was further recognized when he won the National Carnival March Contest organized by Fundição Progresso.
