Biography

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Claudio Spiewak began his musical journey at the age of 11, picking up the guitar and never looking back. His sound is a rich tapestry woven from the threads of his native Brazilian music, including Samba and Bossa Nova, and further enriched by influences from Jazz, Latin, Flamenco, and Pop/Rock. This diverse palette allows him to create a distinct and unique musical voice.

Based in Miami, Florida, Spiewak is an active presence in the local music scene, performing with his own ensemble and collaborating with various other musicians. His career boasts over two decades of professional experience, during which he has had the honor of working with a multitude of renowned artists. These collaborations include touring, recording, and performing alongside international stars such as Julio Iglesias, Shakira, and Jimmy Smith, as well as prominent Brazilian artists like Tim Maia, Bebel Gilberto, and Elba Ramalho.

Beyond his performance work, Claudio Spiewak is also a prolific composer and music producer. His original music has been featured in numerous television shows and advertisements for major networks including Discovery Channel, CNN, and MTV. Furthermore, his talent was recognized in the film "Mr. Church," starring Eddie Murphy.
