Biography

Clemente Tadeu Nascimento was born in São Paulo on May 12, 1963, establishing himself as one of the most important and pioneering figures of punk rock in Brazil. His musical journey began in the late 1970s, when he was a pioneer bassist in the band Restos de Nada, considered the country's first punk group, in addition to a stint with Condutores de Cadáver. In 1981, he founded the famous band Inocentes, where he initially played bass and later took over vocals and guitars, writing striking compositions such as "Pânico em SP".

In addition to his work with Inocentes, Clemente expanded his presence in the national rock scene by joining the band Plebe Rude in 2004, actively participating in important albums and tours by the group from Brasília. Alongside his band projects, the musician also embarked on a solo career with Clemente & A Fantástica Banda Sem Nome, as well as collaborating with Sandra Coutinho in the duo Jack & Fancy. Throughout his career, he has worked with various heavyweights of Brazilian music and formed notable artistic partnerships.

His contribution to culture goes far beyond the stage, as he also stands out as a presenter, radio broadcaster, writer, and musical activist. He hosted shows like Musikaos on TV Cultura and went on to host Filhos da Pátria on Rádio Kiss FM, in addition to co-hosting the segment Heavy Lero with VJ Gastão Moreira. In 2016, he published the book Meninos em Fúria in partnership with Marcelo Rubens Paiva, immortalizing his memories of the Brazilian punk movement of the 1980s.
