Biography

Clovis Pinho is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and arranger, known for his striking career in contemporary gospel music. He gained great national prominence as a vocalist for the band Renascer Praise, consolidating his presence in the religious scene before founding the group Preto no Branco in 2015, where he served as the main vocalist for the first three albums and composed the mega-hit "Ninguém Explica Deus".

With the group Preto no Branco, he achieved impressive milestones, including the world record for the most-watched gospel music video on YouTube, also driven by interpretations from artists such as Gabriela Rocha. Throughout his career, Pinho has collaborated with several heavyweights of Brazilian music, such as Resgate, Davi Sacer, Harmonia do Samba, and Cláudia Leitte, expanding his influence beyond the traditional boundaries of the gospel genre.

In 2016, he began his solo career with the release of the self-titled album Ninguém Explica Deus, remaining active in the band Preto no Branco until 2020. Since then, he has dedicated himself entirely to his individual projects and to cementing his status as one of the most important Christian music songwriters in Brazil.
