Biography

The Comunidade Católica Divina Luz (Divine Light Catholic Community) is a religious community founded in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Its origins trace back to the 1990s with a prayer group called "Louva Deus" (Praise God), initially coordinated by Jobson Nascimento.

In October 2004, the community formally established its headquarters, marking a significant step in its growth and evangelization efforts. The community's charism, inspired by John 11:40 ("If you believe, you will see the glory of God"), focuses on being "the Light that frees from darkness," aiming to rescue souls from spiritual death. Ramildo Silva assumed leadership in 2008, formalizing the community's statutes and expanding its activities beyond prayer groups to include publications, vocational training, catechesis, retreats, and human promotion services.

The community has also ventured into music, releasing albums such as "Na Terra dos Vivos" in 2017, which features collaborations with artists like Eliana Ribeiro and Dunga. Their music aims to bring healing, liberation, and joy, reflecting their core mission of spiritual renewal. They also produce content for children under the "Divininhos" brand.
