Biography

Dandarona, the artistic name of Dandara Luz, is a Brazilian DJ and cultural producer who stands out in the country's underground scene. With a career spanning over eight years, she has built a musical identity that blends funk, club music, and drum'n'bass, taking her sound across several Brazilian cities. Her musical research is affective and everyday, using her own trajectory and experiences as raw material for her productions and sets.

Dandarona is known for her work in expanding diversity within the national electronic music circuit, creating spaces and promoting artists who are often marginalized. She is the creator of the label party DANDARONA CLUB, which brings together national artists and strengthens the alternative scene. Her work seeks to create an intimate connection with the public, transforming memories into collective experiences and defending the magic of unpredictability in her performances.

Her music explores narratives of tension, combining the aggressiveness of beats with the fluidity of ambient sounds, and she has already previewed her first EP with the single "Turn Up the Bass", co-produced with RKills. Dandarona has performed on recognized stages in the national circuit, such as Kode (RJ), Tijolo Records (SP), and Sangra Muta (SP), and has participated in festivals such as Festival DoSol. Her work transcends music, as she is also a researcher who values affective digging and artistic and emotional expression.
