Born Daniel Espíndola Black in São Paulo, Dani Black is a prominent figure in the contemporary MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) scene. Growing up in a musical household as the son of the renowned singer Tetê Espíndola and the composer Arnaldo Black, he committed to a music career early in his childhood. His talent as a singer, composer, and guitarist has been praised by legendary Brazilian icons such as Milton Nascimento and Djavan, marking him as a significant voice of his generation.\n\nBlack's career gained significant momentum in 2011 when Billboard Brasil named him the 'Revelation Artist' of the year. He collaborated with Maria Gadú on her live DVD and toured extensively with Chico César, showcasing his skills as a virtuoso guitarist across Brazil and Europe. His self-titled debut album established him as a prolific songwriter, with his compositions being recorded by prestigious artists like Elba Ramalho and Ney Matogrosso. His song 'Oração' even served as the inspiration for one of Matogrosso's major concert tours.\n\nIn 2015, he released his second studio album, 'Dilúvio', which received widespread critical acclaim.
