Daniel Yorubá is a Brazilian singer and songwriter known for his unique fusion of MPB with African rhythms, reggae, hip hop, R&B, and dance-pop. Born and raised in the outskirts of São Paulo, the artist uses his music as a channel to discuss urgent social issues and transcendental themes, often placing the female figure and maternal strength at the center of his compositions. His singular sound is influenced by his roots, being the son of singer Dona Efigênia and multi-instrumentalist Zé Pernambuco.
