Biography

Daniela Araújo is a prominent Brazilian contemporary Christian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and arranger. Born in São Paulo into a musical family rooted in the Assembly of God church, she spent her childhood immersed in recording studios and live shows alongside her parents, Jorge Araújo and Eula Paula. In her youth, she gained early recognition as a member of the successful 1990s children's musical group Turma do Barulho, which she joined alongside her siblings.

Her breakthrough as a solo artist came with her self-titled debut album in 2011, followed by her critically acclaimed sophomore record Criador do Mundo in 2014, which topped the national iTunes sales charts. Throughout her career, she has collaborated extensively with numerous notable figures in the Brazilian gospel scene, producing records for artists such as Gabriela Rocha, Jotta A, and Priscilla Alcantara. Her ambitious conceptual projects, including the fan-collaborative album Doze and the Latin Grammy-nominated two-part album Catarse, further cemented her influence in contemporary Christian music and Latin American Christian pop.
