Danilo Brito is a renowned Brazilian mandolinist and composer born in São Paulo. A self-taught prodigy, he began his professional career at the tender age of 11, quickly establishing himself as a virtuoso in traditional Brazilian instrumental music such as choro, waltz, and samba. Over the course of his career, critics have notably compared his exceptional skill on the mandolin to the legendary Jacob do Bandolim.

Throughout his artistic journey, Brito has collaborated and performed with prominent figures in Brazilian music, including Altamiro Carrilho, Toninho Ferragutti, and Proveta.
