Biography

David Feldman is a Brazilian-Israeli pianist, arranger, producer, composer, and sound engineer born in Rio de Janeiro. Born into a family with strong ties to classical and early music, he began his training with figures such as Ileana Carneiro, Sheila Zagury, and Luiz Eça, solidifying his technical and artistic foundation before seeking new international horizons.

In 2000, he moved to New York to study at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, graduating in 2002. During his stay in the United States, he worked with renowned musicians such as Slide Hampton and Claudio Roditi, in addition to joining important projects like the Mingus Big Band and the NY Samba Jazz Group, alongside artists such as Duduka da Fonseca and Anat Cohen.

Returning to Brazil starting in 2004, Feldman began collaborating intensively with major exponents of MPB and national jazz, such as Leny Andrade, Leila Pinheiro, Paulo Moura, and Leo Gandelman. He has released standout albums in his solo career, including "O Som do Beco Das Garrafas" (2009), "Piano" (2014), and "Horizonte" (2016), establishing himself as one of the great talents of Brazilian instrumental music and frequently collaborating with artists such as Toninho Horta and Raul de Souza.
