Andrea Gadelha, known as Dedé Gadelha, is a Brazilian figure closely associated with the Tropicália movement and the broader MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) scene. She gained prominence as the first wife of the iconic musician Caetano Veloso, whom she married in 1967. Their union, described as a "hippie wedding" in Salvador, captured media attention and symbolized the countercultural spirit of the era. Dedé Gadelha is the mother of Moreno Veloso, a musician in his own right, and has been a significant presence in the lives and artistic inspirations of both Caetano and Moreno.
