Biography

Paulo Rogério Tambasco, better known as Déio Tambasco, was born in São Paulo on November 15, 1972. He is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, and guitarist, with a strong presence in the Christian rock scene and national gospel music. Raised in a musical environment, he began his journey in adolescence and gained national prominence by joining iconic bands such as Katsbarnea and Renascer Praise, in addition to collaborating closely with the group Oficina G3, where his brother Duca Tambasco plays as the bassist.

Alongside his participation in bands, Déio built a solid solo career that began in the 1990s. He released striking albums such as Além do Céu (1998), Novos Rumos (2004)—which earned him nominations for the Troféu Talento—Déio Tambasco Ao Vivo (2012), and Kaved Kavod (2015). His versatility as a guitarist and songwriter also led him to contribute technically and artistically to highly relevant projects for the genre, participating in commemorative tours and recordings acclaimed by specialized critics.
