Biography

Valdelino Marçal da Costa, known artistically as Delino Marçal, is a Brazilian gospel singer, songwriter, and elder. Born in Arapoema, Tocantins, he moved to Goiânia as a baby, a city where he grew up in a deeply religious environment and began his musical journey performing in the worship ministry of the church led by his mother.

His solo career began with the release of the independent CD "Que amor é esse?" in 2013. Widespread national recognition came after signing with the record label MK Music and releasing the album "Nada Além da Graça," which featured the hit "Deus é Deus" and propelled his name onto the Brazilian contemporary Christian music scene, alongside major names in the segment such as Aline Barros and Fernanda Brum.

Further consolidating his career, in 2018 he released the album "Guarda Meu Coração," a work that earned him a Latin Grammy in 2019. Throughout his journey, Delino has left his mark on gospel music with simple and impactful compositions, while maintaining a strong presence in his religious community in Goiânia.
