Biography

Marcos Fernandes de Omena, widely known by his stage name Dexter, was born in São Paulo on August 17, 1973. He began his journey in Brazilian hip hop in the 1990s, standing out as one of the genre's great names and joining the influential group 509-E in the 2000s alongside Afro-X, a period during which they released the landmark album Provérbios 13.

After serving time in the prison system, where he consolidated his art, the rapper gained his freedom in 2011 and expanded his career with acclaimed solo works, such as the record Exilado Sim, Preso Não and the album Flor de Lótus.
