Biography

Diego Martins Bahia was born in Campinas, São Paulo, and has been involved in the performing arts since childhood, studying stage arts at the Universidade Estadual Paulista. He initially gained prominence in musical theater, earning a nomination for the Bibi Ferreira Award in the Revelation category for his performance in the musical A Era do Rock. Throughout his stage career, he also participated in notable productions such as Beatles Num Céu de Diamantes, O Despertar da Primavera, and Peter Pan.

Transitioning to television and music competitions, Diego appeared on the first season of X Factor Brasil and later reached the semifinals of Canta Comigo. His career took a definitive artistic turn when he played a drag queen in the theatrical production Brilha La Luna, leading him to fully embrace drag performance. In 2022, he achieved national stardom by winning the first season of the reality show Queen Stars Brasil, a victory that propelled his music career and secured a recording contract with Universal Music Brasil.

Expanding his artistic footprint, Diego made his television acting debut on TV Globo's telenovela Terra e Paixão as the beloved character Kelvin Santana, alongside making his cinematic debut in the Prime Video film Um Ano Inesquecível - Verão. As a recording artist, he has released numerous singles and collaborated with notable figures like Belo, Pocah, and Pepita, further solidifying his multi-faceted career as an actor, singer, and drag queen in Brazilian pop culture.
