Biography

Filipe Carvalho, better known as Disstinto, is a Brazilian music producer, DJ, and rapper originally from Brasília, Federal District. His music career began in 2011, when he founded the hip-hop group Um Barril de Rap (UBR) alongside Froid, Sampa, and Yank. Following the end of UBR in 2017, Disstinto continued to explore his artistic versatility, releasing works as a producer, DJ, and, more recently, as a vocalist.

Disstinto gained notoriety for his work in the national rap scene, both through music production and his own compositions. In 2018, he released the single "Highlife," marking his debut on vocals and presenting a concept of freedom and change. His music production encompasses various styles within hip-hop and urban genres, collaborating with artists such as Den Dêh, with whom he released the album "¿Que se passa?", exploring elements of afrobeats and reggaeton. He is also recognized for his DJ sets, which navigate through R&B and other rhythms.
