Biography

Carlos Henrique Benigno, widely known as DJ Caíque, was born in São Paulo on October 18, 1982. Before consolidating his career in music, during his childhood and youth he worked in television and cinema, participating in notable productions such as the children's show Disney CRUJ, where he played the character Macaco, in addition to working as a presenter and actor.

His transition into the musical universe occurred in the early 2000s, when he began working as a rap DJ, expanding his activity to beat production starting in 2003. Throughout his trajectory, he founded the independent label 360 Graus Records and built a solid reputation in the national rap scene, collaborating with prominent names in the Brazilian scene such as Projota, Ogi, and Rashid.

In addition to his studio albums, such as "Simplesmente Luz" and "Retrato", DJ Caíque signed notorious productions that left their mark on Brazilian hip-hop and even collaborated internationally with the New York group Creative Juices Crew. His contribution to urban culture and to the consolidation of various artists of the genre turned him into a fundamental reference in rap music production in the country.
