Biography

Alfredo Bello, known artistically as DJ Tudo, is a DJ, music producer, instrumentalist, and researcher of Brazilian musical traditions and electronic music. Born in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, on January 5, 1972, Bello began his musical career informally in his teens and later deepened his studies in music, graduating with a degree in Double Bass from the University of Brasília (UnB) in 1998. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Brazilian Culture at USP.

Since the year 2000, DJ Tudo has dedicated himself to recording over 2,000 hours of popular Brazilian celebrations, which resulted in the creation of the Selo Mundo Melhor project, through which he shares part of this collection and has already released 38 titles. Throughout his career, he has released seven albums, and was recognized in 2016 with the Brazilian Music Award in the best electronic album category for the record "Gaia Musica vol 1". His work is marked by high-quality sound collage, which blends traditional Brazilian music with global influences, exploring everything from rich afro-brazilian music to african, latin, and arabic sonorities.

DJ Tudo has performed as a musician or DJ in around 30 countries, taking his sound research to various corners of the world. His vast collection of over 20,000 records, accumulated over more than two decades of travels through Brazil and the world, reflects his deep knowledge and passion for musical diversity. He is known for his ability to transform deep Brazil into a sophisticated party, connecting national traditions to the music of other cultures.
