Biography

Eduardo Tavares Leindecker, known artistically as Duca Leindecker, was born in Porto Alegre on April 5, 1970. He began his musical journey in his teens, performing in bars around the capital of Rio Grande do Sul and standing out early on as an instrumentalist, having been part of bands like Bandaliera before consolidating his original career.

Over the years, Duca gained national recognition as the leader of the band Cidadão Quem, with which he recorded several successful albums and participated in major festivals, such as Rock in Rio. His artistic versatility also led him to form remarkable partnerships, such as the duo Pouca Vogal, a project carried out in collaboration with singer and songwriter Humberto Gessinger.

In addition to his established music career as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Duca Leindecker has built a prominent path in literature. He is the author of widely acclaimed books, such as "A Casa da Esquina", reaffirming his multifaceted talent within Brazilian culture.
