Biography

Eduardo "Duca" Tambasco was born in São Paulo on April 15, 1976. Raised in a Christian family alongside his brothers Rodrigo and Déio Tambasco, he began playing the double bass at the age of eight, encouraged by his family to perform at their local church. During his adolescence, he played in several musical groups, including the band Anno Domini, where he collaborated with his brother Déio and drummer Lufeh.

In 1994, Duca joined the prominent Christian rock band Oficina G3, replacing former bassist Wagner García at the invitation of drummer Walter Lopes. His tenure with the group began during the CD release of the album "Nada É Tão Novo, Nada É Tão Velho", and he quickly established himself as a key composer and backing vocalist with the 1996 release of "Indiferença". Alongside his enduring work with Oficina G3, Duca released his own solo singles in 2017 titled "Woods" and "Samaria".

Throughout his career, Duca has lent his talents as a bassist, producer, and arranger to numerous other notable Brazilian artists and bands. He has recorded and collaborated with acts such as Katsbarnea, Leonardo Gonçalves, Thalles Roberto, and Observ, cementing his reputation as a versatile musician in the Brazilian Christian rock and metal scene, alongside peers like Lufeh and Déio Tambasco.
