Biography

Eduardo Borges de Souza, known artistically as Dudu Borges or Analaga, was born in Campo Grande on January 28, 1983. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and music producer, he began his journey in childhood influenced by his pianist father and, while still young, moved to São Paulo, where he first gained prominence in the contemporary Christian music scene by joining the Christian rock band Resgate between 2002 and 2012.

His national notoriety, however, was consolidated when he revolutionized the sound of sertanejo universitário starting in the 2000s. Dudu produced and arranged landmark albums for enormously successful duos such as João Bosco & Vinícius, Bruno & Marrone, Jorge & Mateus, and Luan Santana, even winning a Latin Grammy in the Best Sertanejo Music Album category. Throughout his career, he has worked with various big names in Brazilian music, such as Ivete Sangalo, Belo, and Thiaguinho.

Starting in 2018, he began signing his new projects under the pseudonym Analaga, focusing on collaborations and the fusion of genres such as pop, electronic music, and sertanejo. As an artist and producer, he has deeply marked the Brazilian recording industry, becoming one of the most influential names behind the scenes of national music.
