Biography

Ed & Fábio César are a Brazilian sertanejo music duo composed of brothers Ed and Fábio César. They represent the third generation of a musical family, being the sons of Cezar from the renowned duo Cezar & Paulinho, and grandsons of Craveiro from the duo Craveiro & Cravinho. Growing up surrounded by music, they were deeply influenced by their father, uncle, and grandfather, which shaped their musical development.

The duo was formed in 2001, making their debut on the live CD of Cezar & Paulinho, where they performed the song "Geração de Cantador." Their career gained further momentum in 2007 when they were invited to participate in the "Mococa e Paraíso ao vivo na Estância" CD. The positive reception from the audience at this recording led to a contract with the Arlequim label to release their own album.

Later that year, Ed & Fábio César released their first CD, featuring songs like "Cuidado com meu coração" and "Eu vou viver" by Moacyr Franco, "Foi ela" by Cezar, Luiza Franco, and Junior, and "Galera zuadeira" by Cezar, among others. Following the album's release, the duo embarked on tours across the interior of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, and Mato Grosso, performing at shows and sertanejo events.
