Edmon Sebastião Silva Costa, known professionally as Edmon, is a Brazilian singer who rose to prominence in the 1990s. Born in Rio de Janeiro on January 9, 1964, Edmon launched his debut album, "Edmon," in 1990, followed by subsequent releases in 1993 and later by Indie Records. His music found a significant audience, with several of his songs being featured in the soundtracks of popular Rede Globo telenovelas, including "O Dono do Mundo" (1991), "Olho no Olho" (1993), "Quatro por Quatro" (1994), and "Cara & Coroa" (1995). This widespread exposure solidified his presence in the Brazilian music scene during that decade.
