Biography

Edson & Hudson is a Brazilian sertaneja music duo formed in 1980 by the brothers Edson Cadorini and Hudson Cadorini in the city of Limeira, São Paulo. Born and raised in a circus family, the brothers received strong encouragement from their father, known as Beijinho, and began singing at a very young age using pseudonyms before adopting their definitive name and achieving great national prominence in the early 1990s after participating in television shows.

The duo's sound stood out for combining Edson's powerful voice with guitar solos featuring rock influences introduced by Hudson, a unique differentiator that revolutionized the sertanejo market and paved the way for new generations. Throughout their trajectory, marked by hits such as the mega hit "Azul", the brothers have sold over a million records and packed major events and rodeos across the country. After a brief period of separation between 2009 and 2011, during which they invested in side projects, the duo returned to the stage and continued to release widely acclaimed albums and tours.

Over the course of their careers, Edson & Hudson have collaborated and shared stages with various exponents of national music, including renowned names such as Zezé Di Camargo, Bruno & Marrone, and Jorge & Mateus.
