Biography

Eduardo Teixeira da Fonseca Vasconcellos, better known as Edu Falaschi, was born in São Paulo on May 18, 1972. With a career of great international projection in the heavy metal scene, the singer, songwriter, and producer has built a remarkable body of work that includes stints in fundamental bands of the genre such as Mitrium, Symbols, Almah, and the acclaimed Angra. Over decades of his career, he has sold more than one million records and undertaken several world tours, also standing out for successful conceptual albums in his solo phase.

The artist gained global prominence by fronting Angra on iconic albums and by hitting the charts with compositions like "Nova Era," which earned him international awards and critical acclaim from specialized media, including nominations among the best metal singers in the world by the Japanese magazine Burrn. In addition to his work with melodic and progressive metal, Edu Falaschi expanded his versatility with projects such as the acoustic album Moonlight and authored works like Vera Cruz and Eldorado. Throughout his musical journey, he has shared stages and projects with various exponents of the scene, such as Felipe Andreoli and Aquiles Priester.

Consolidated as one of the great voices of national heavy rock, the musician remains active with anniversary tours and new phonographic releases. His contribution to Brazilian music goes beyond the stages, encompassing vocal technique workshops and compositions for major media and electronic games, keeping the relevance of his legacy alive over the last three and a half decades.
