Biography

Ellen Oléria is a prominent Brazilian singer, songwriter, and actress born in Brasília and raised in Taguatinga. She began her musical career performing in local bars and cultural circuits at a young age, later graduating in performing arts from the University of Brasília. Her artistic style is a rich tapestry blending jazz, samba, pop, and hip hop, while actively incorporating traditional Brazilian cultural expressions such as congado, afoxés, and carimbó.

Her career gained national prominence when she won the inaugural season of the reality television show The Voice Brasil in 2012, choosing to join the team mentored by Carlinhos Brown. Following this victory, she released her self-titled major-label debut in 2013 with Universal Music, expanding her reach through international tours spanning Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Throughout her journey, she has collaborated with notable artists such as Emicida, Hamilton de Holanda, and Marisa Monte, cementing her status as a vital voice in contemporary Brazilian music.
