Biography

The group "Em Cima da Hora" emerged in mid-2005, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, with the proposal to liven up Sundays at Beira Mar Norte. Initially formed by friends Bruninho, Lucas, and Brunão, the project quickly gained momentum and established itself as "Em Cima da Hora", becoming a reference in the local samba and pagode scene.

The band stood out for its joy, good humor, and contagious sound, winning a loyal audience and opening shows for renowned artists such as Exaltasamba, Jeito Moleque, Pixote, and Alexandre Pires. In 2009/2010, the group was awarded as the best pagode band in Greater Florianópolis, consolidating its rise.

Throughout its trajectory, "Em Cima da Hora" recorded its first CD with thirteen unreleased songs and released other works, including the album "Em Cima da Hora – Ao vivo" in 2010 and the EP "Então Vem" in 2016. The band celebrates its 20 years of career in 2025, celebrating with a special show in Florianópolis.
