Eneida de Villas Boas Costa de Moraes was born in Belém on October 23, 1904, standing out as a multifaceted figure in Brazilian culture and politics. A journalist, writer, activist, and researcher, she built a career marked by a strong connection to the Amazon and by her intellectual and political activity in the Rio-São Paulo axis, where she joined the Brazilian Communist Party and associated with major names in national literature, such as Graciliano Ramos.
