Biography

Fabiana Anastácio Nascimento was a prominent Brazilian contemporary Christian music singer associated with the Pentecostal religious movement. Born in Santo André, São Paulo, she began singing at the young age of four at the Assembleia de Deus church alongside her family. Over the years, she performed in numerous church congresses and gatherings, eventually gaining widespread national recognition after a video of her singing a cover of Eyshila's song "Fiel a Mim" went viral. Influenced by notable gospel artists such as Shirley Carvalhaes and Ozéias de Paula, she established a powerful presence in the Brazilian gospel scene.

Following her surge in popularity, Anastácio released her debut album, Adorador 1, in 2012. Her career expanded with subsequent releases, including Adorador 2 - Além da Canção in 2015 and Adorador 3 - Além das Circunstâncias in 2017, the latter produced by maestro Melk Carvalhedo. Throughout her roughly seven-year recording career, she delivered several successful tracks, such as "O Grande Eu Sou," "Quem me vê Cantando," and "Deixa Comigo," solidifying her legacy in Brazilian Christian music alongside peers like Eyshila.

Tragically, Fabiana Anastácio passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 45, due to complications from COVID-19 after being hospitalized for over a week. Despite her relatively short commercial discography, which concluded with posthumous or final works like Deus É Contigo in 2020, her powerful voice and deep devotion left a lasting impact on the pentecostal musical landscape in Brazil.
