Biography

Fabio Brazza is a prominent Brazilian rapper, composer, and poet born in São Paulo. Coming from a rich artistic lineage as the grandson of concrete poet Ronaldo Azeredo, he developed a deep appreciation for traditional Brazilian genres like samba from an early age, drawing early inspiration from icons such as Noel Rosa and Cartola before discovering hip-hop through Racionais MC's. He pursued studies in social sciences at PUC-SP and later communication at Wingate University in North Carolina on a soccer scholarship, while also building a name for himself in the underground rap battle scene.

Throughout his career, Brazza has released numerous acclaimed albums that bridge traditional Brazilian poetry with contemporary rap. His discography includes notable works such as Filho da Pátria, Tupi Or Not Tupi—which featured collaborations with artists like Arnaldo Antunes, Caju & Castanha, and Paula Lima—and subsequent projects like Colírio da Cólera and Isso Não É Um Disco de Rap. His lyrical versatility has allowed him to collaborate across generations and genres with prominent Brazilian acts including Negra Li, Péricles, Rashid, and Diogo Nogueira.
