Biography

Fabio Zanon was born in Jundiaí on March 6, 1966, beginning his musical studies under the tutelage of his father and teacher Antonio Guedes. He graduated in music from the University of São Paulo in 1987, taking lessons with Edelton Gloeden and Henrique Pinto, before heading to the Royal Academy of Music in London for his master's degree.

Throughout his career, Zanon has stood out in prestigious international competitions, achieving victories such as at the Francisco Tárrega Competition and the Guitar Foundation of America. He has also recorded with OSESP and collaborated with names such as Francis Hime, Nelson Ayres, and Marcelo Barboza, receiving important nominations and awards in classical music.

In addition to his intense activity as a guitarist and conductor, Fabio Zanon works as a writer, professor, and communicator, holding the position of visiting professor at the Royal Academy of Music and coordinating the Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival.
