Fausto Corrêa da Silva, widely known as Faustão, is a prominent Brazilian television presenter, radio host, and journalist. Born in Porto Ferreira, São Paulo, on May 2, 1950, he began his extensive career in media at the young age of 14 as a reporter for Rádio Centenário de Araras. His early years were marked by a strong presence in sports journalism, covering major events and working for influential radio stations and newspapers like Rádio Globo and O Estado de S. Paulo.

Faustão's transition to television in the 1980s marked a significant turning point. He gained national recognition for hosting "Perdidos na Noite," a late-night variety show known for its irreverent humor and improvisational style, which aired on various networks including TV Gazeta, RecordTV, and Rede Bandeirantes. This success led to his move to TV Globo in 1989, where he hosted the iconic "Domingão do Faustão" for over three decades, becoming a household name and a beloved figure in Brazilian entertainment.

Throughout his career, Faustão has been celebrated for his charismatic personality, direct communication style, and ability to connect with a broad audience.
