Biography
Fabricio Soares Teixeira, better known as FBC, is a prominent Brazilian rapper and songwriter born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. His artistic journey began in childhood, passing through the drums in a Nirvana cover band and exposure to music in religious groups, before adopting his childhood arcade nickname to stand out in the traditional rap battles of his region.
After years of dedication to hip hop and being part of the important collective DV Tribo alongside names like Djonga, FBC solidified his solo career with praised albums like S.C.A. and Padrim. His national consecration came with the acclaimed record Baile (2021), in partnership with producer Vhoor, exploring danceable sonorities and striking aesthetics that won over millions of listeners across the country.
Continuing to expand his musical horizons, the artist released works such as O amor, o perdão e a tecnologia irão nos levar para outro planeta, mixing electronic music and deep reflections on contemporary relationships. With a rich discography and prominent guest features in the national urban scene, FBC continues to shape the direction of Brazilian rap alongside artists like Clara Lima and Mano Brown.
