Luis Felipe Oliveira Machado, born in São Paulo on August 4, 1970, is a prominent Brazilian musician, journalist, and author. He is widely recognized as the guitarist and co-founder of the influential heavy metal band Viper, which he established in 1985. Alongside his work with Viper—sharing stages with legendary international acts and touring globally—he launched his solo career with the albums FM Solo in 2015 and Primata in 2022.

Throughout his musical journey, Machado has remained a vital figure in the Brazilian rock and metal scene, participating in all of Viper's studio albums and performing at major festivals such as Rock in Rio and Monsters of Rock. His musical output bridges traditional heavy metal with melodic rock sensibilities, aligning him with contemporaries of the Brazilian metal movement like Andre Matos. In addition to his contributions to Viper, he has explored solo artistry, incorporating diverse musical influences into his songwriting and guitar playing.
