Biography
Luiz Félix de Oliveira Robatto Campos, known artistically as Félix Robatto, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and music producer born in Belém, Pará. Standing out as one of the great names of the new generation of guitarrada and lambada, his career is marked by in-depth research into Latin-Amazonian music, uniting regional traditions with contemporary elements of pop and surf music.
Before consolidating his solo career and establishing himself as a nationally prominent producer, Robatto was part of various projects and dance bands in Belém, such as the band La Pupuña, a group he helped found and with which he toured important stages in Brazil and abroad. Alongside his instrumental and research work, he acted in the music production of acclaimed albums by artists such as Gaby Amarantos and Lia Sophia, in addition to collaborating on the musical direction of projects dedicated to traditional masters of Pará.
As a solo artist, he released albums such as "Equatorial, Quente e Úmido" and conceived cultural initiatives of great relevance in the Pará scene, such as the Lambateria party and festival. His continuous work of valuing and diffusing northern sounds also extended to the audiovisual field, with the co-direction of the documentary "As Origens da Lambada". Over the years, Félix Robatto has established himself as a central figure in the renewal and circulation of music produced in the Amazon.
