Biography

Fernando da Silva Pereira, known artistically as Fernandinho Beat Box, was born in São Paulo on July 7, 1975. He fell in love with the art of mouth sounds in his youth after watching a breakdancing film, initiating a journey that led him to be internationally recognized as one of the pioneers and main propagators of beatboxing in Brazil.

Throughout his career, he consolidated important partnerships in the Brazilian music scene, standing out for his performances alongside Marcelo D2 and his time with the rap group Z'África Brasil. In 2012, he released his first solo album titled Caminho Estreito, which featured collaborations with renowned artists such as Seu Jorge, Renan Samam, and Tita Lima, in addition to charting the music video for "Samba de Boca".

Beyond his work in music, Fernandinho expanded his presence to television, participating in the opening of the Video Music Brasil on MTV and joining the judging panel of shows like Canta Comigo and Canta Comigo Teen, in addition to having participated in the twelfth season of the reality show A Fazenda.
