Biography

Fernando "TRZ" Falcoski is a Brazilian keyboardist, producer, and sound designer whose career began in the independent music scene of Bauru, São Paulo, in the late 1990s. He is a classically trained musician, holding a degree in Popular Piano and Graphic Design from Unesp Bauru. TRZ's musical journey has seen him collaborate with a diverse range of renowned artists and bands within Brazil's independent music circuit.

In 2004, TRZ relocated to São Paulo, where he spent a decade actively participating in various musical projects. His collaborations include work with Electronic Brain, Pipo Pegoraro, Lucas Santtana, Aláfia, Maria Alcina, and Kika. He was also a member of the instrumental nu-jazz band Lavoura. His extensive experience has positioned him as a respected figure in the Brazilian music landscape, known for his versatility and innovative approach to sound.

TRZ's solo work often explores contemporary jazz, neo-soul, hip-hop, rare grooves, and electronic music, blending these genres with Brazilian rhythms. His solo album "Solstício" (2020) features a collection of original instrumental tracks, with guest appearances from artists he has collaborated with, such as members of Liniker e os Caramelows and Cérebro Eletrônico. His more recent album, "Matrizes" (2024), delves deeper into Afro-Brazilian music, influenced by the work of maestro Letieres Leite, and incorporates elements of afrobeats, electronic music, soul, dub, and rock, showcasing his continuous exploration of the Black Atlantic's sonic influences.
