He is best known for his collective project, Flaviola e O Bando do Sol, which released its self-titled and only album in 1976. This record is widely regarded as a masterpiece of the 'Udigrudi' movement, a countercultural musical underground that blended regional Brazilian traditions with global psychedelic influences.\n\nThe music of Flaviola was characterized by its poetic depth and acoustic richness, featuring an array of instruments such as the dulcimer, mandolin, and various guitars.
