Biography

Henrique Aranha Fogaça, better known simply as Fogaça, was born in Piracicaba, São Paulo, on April 1, 1974. Although widely recognized as a chef, businessman, and judge on the television show MasterChef, Fogaça has also built a trajectory in Brazilian music as the vocalist and songwriter for the hardcore band Oitão. His artistic work moves intensely between gastronomy and the underground national rock scene.

Before consolidating his career in cooking and music, he went through training in architecture and foreign trade before finding himself in the kitchens and on the stages of São Paulo. With the band Oitão, he expresses his heavier musical side, engaging in dialogue with counterculture and Brazilian hardcore. This musical facet complements his public persona, marked by rock aesthetics and social activism.

Throughout his multifaceted trajectory, Fogaça has shared space with various names from the country's cultural and musical scene, maintaining connections with São Paulo's independent circuit. His contribution to music and urban culture has solidified his name beyond professional kitchens, integrating him into the contemporary Brazilian artistic universe.
