Biography
Forró Saborear is a Brazilian forró band formed in São Paulo in the year 2001. The band quickly gained national prominence, especially in 2003, with the release of their third CD, which introduced a more danceable and contagious beat, revolutionizing the forró market. Songs like "Patricinha" and "Mauricinho" became major hits, leading the country's radio charts and earning the band the title of National Forró Revelation in 2003, in addition to selling over 600,000 copies and receiving a Double Platinum Record.
The band's classic lineup featured the vocals of Breno and Marília, whose duets were one of the highlights of their work. Throughout their career, Forró Saborear released several albums, including "Paquerar - Vol. 4" in 2004, which earned them another gold record. The band is known for their electronic and romantic forró, maintaining an intense concert schedule and presenting a show featuring singers, dancers, and musicians.
In 2025, the band announced the return of original vocalists Breno Solto and Marília Patricinha, for an unprecedented lineup alongside singer Sandra Fernandes, celebrating the group's 25th anniversary. Forró Saborear is recognized for their ability to innovate within the genre, incorporating elements such as vaquejada and piseiro into their discography, without losing the essence of romantic forró.
