Biography

Gabriel Bernardes Duarte, known professionally as Gah Bernardes, was born on January 2, 2000, in Olímpia, a city in the interior of São Paulo state. His musical journey began at the age of seven, influenced by his family, and he developed a deep passion for music. By the age of eleven, Bernardes embarked on his professional career, initially forming a duo with his brother called Guilherme e Gabriel. They performed in local venues in their hometown of Olímpia for seven years.

In 2018, the brothers decided to pursue solo careers, with Guilherme focusing on "queernejo" (a subgenre of sertanejo music) and Gah Bernardes continuing with traditional sertanejo. Bernardes has been composing music since he was thirteen years old, and many established artists in the sertanejo genre have recorded his songs. His first solo release, "Vai Falando ai," was launched on August 14, 2020.

January 2021 marked the beginning of the planning for his new release, "Auge emocional," which is now available on all major streaming platforms. Bernardes continues to be an active presence in the Brazilian sertanejo music scene, with new releases anticipated. His work is often characterized by themes common in sertanejo music, such as relationships and emotions, resonating with a wide audience.
