Biography

Leandro Franco da Rocha, widely recognized by his stage name Gee Rocha, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and musician born in São Paulo. He began his musical journey as a bassist for the rock band Gloria in 2002 before eventually transitioning to guitar and vocals, though he left the group in 2006. That same year, he joined the immensely popular rock band NX Zero as a guitarist and composer, contributing significantly to their musical identity alongside vocalist Di Ferrero.

Tragedy struck early in his life when his father was killed during a robbery when Gee was just three years old, a poignant family loss that later inspired him and Di Ferrero to write the hit single "Cedo Ou Tarde". After NX Zero announced an indefinite hiatus in late 2017 and a subsequent permanent end was discussed, Gee embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut solo single "Nada Igual" in March 2019. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with and shared stages with notable artists in the Brazilian rock scene, cementing his legacy in contemporary alternative music.

Beyond his work with NX Zero and Gloria, Gee has established himself as a versatile instrumentalist who plays guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass. His artistic path reflects the evolution of 2000s Brazilian rock and emo, deeply intertwined with the friendship and creative synergy he shared with bandmates like Di Ferrero. As he continues to explore solo projects, his contributions remain an essential part of the modern Brazilian rock landscape.
