Biography

Grupo Cabalah is a rock band formed in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1998. Throughout their career, the group has stood out for their energetic performances and a sound that blends rock influences with regional elements.

The band has released several works throughout their career, including the CDs "Rei Mermão" (2002), "Cabala" (2003), and "Alegria do Ensaio" (2016). In 2010, Grupo Cabalah released the EP "Alguém como eu", featuring two unreleased songs, and their music video "A Maçã e Eu" was awarded best national music video at the 9th Santa Maria Vídeo e Cinema festival. The band also celebrated their 18-year career in 2016 with the release of the "Rei Mermão" video and a series of performances across the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Grupo Cabalah has shared the stage with various other bands and participated in important musical events, such as the 3rd World Social Forum in 2003 and performances on TVE and MTV-RS. The music of this gaucho group, with its lyrics and sound, engages with the rich Brazilian rock scene, echoing the strength and diversity of the genre.
