Biography

Guilherme & Benuto is a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed by brothers Guilherme Antônio Artioli and Haroldo Bevenuto Machado Artioli, both natives of Campinas, in the interior of the state of São Paulo. Since childhood, encouraged by their father, the brothers showed a strong musical aptitude, with Guilherme starting on the accordion at age nine and Benuto dedicating himself to the violin and classical music. Before consolidating their current duo, they were part of the trio Villa Baggage for a decade, gaining stage experience and solidifying their path in instrumental music, forró, and chorinho in bars and pubs.

As renowned songwriters in the sertanejo scene, they penned major hit songs performed by various exponents of the genre, such as Jorge & Mateus, Jads & Jadson, and Israel & Rodolffo. National recognition came after the release of the single "3 Batidas" and the consolidation of high-profile live projects, such as the albums "Amando, Bebendo e Sofrendo" and "DRIVE-IN", as well as the "Deu Rolo" album series, recorded in Goiânia and Jaguariúna. With major collaborations alongside artists like Maiara & Maraisa, Hugo & Guilherme, and Simone Mendes, the duo accumulated millions of monthly listeners and multiple diamond certifications with hits like "Haja Colírio" and "Assunto Delicado".

Maintaining a trajectory marked by constant renewal within modern sertanejo and romantic music, Guilherme & Benuto continue to expand their discography with innovative projects, such as the audiovisual "In Casa". The brothers' distinct instrumental ability — uniting accordion and violin — gives a unique signature to their productions, placing them among the leading names in contemporary Brazilian popular music.
