Biography
Habeas Corpus was a Brazilian rock band formed in Brasília during the 1980s. The group consisted of Pierre Aderne on vocals and guitar, Dunga on bass, and Mac Williams on drums. They gained recognition by performing at festivals and concerts, and their success in music fairs led them to play alongside prominent bands of the era, such as Legião Urbana, at events like "Concerto cabeças".
The band's participation in the "Rock Brasília Explode Brasil" LP, sponsored by Rádio Transamérica and produced by Liminha, marked a significant moment in their career, despite the album not achieving the expected success. Habeas Corpus was active in the Brasília music scene throughout the 1980s, contributing to the city's vibrant rock culture.
By the late 1980s, Habeas Corpus disbanded, and vocalist Pierre Aderne embarked on a solo career. The band's legacy is tied to the early Brazilian rock movement, particularly in Brasília, leaving a mark on the local music scene.
