Biography

Hevo84 is a Brazilian rock band formed in 2005 in the city of Paranaguá, Paraná. The group is known for blending electronic elements into their sound, featuring self-penned lyrics inspired by the personal lives of its members. The origin of their name stems from a numerological combination where "Hevo" represents infinity and the indestructible, the number eight symbolizes infinity, and the number four stands for the original number of members.

Initially gaining widespread attention in Curitiba by opening for prominent national acts like Fresno and NX Zero, the band eventually relocated to São Paulo. They independently released their debut album, Dias de fuga, with the single "A Vida É Minha" reaching heavy rotation on radio and gaining significant traction on MTV and YouTube. Their growing independent success eventually caught the attention of producer Rick Bonadio, leading to heavy touring and participation in major Brazilian festivals such as Maquinaria Rock Fest and Festival da Rádio Mix.

In 2009, the band released their album Oitenta e Quatro through EMI, and their single "Passos Escuros" was featured on the soundtrack of the popular television series Malhação. Despite lineup changes and a hiatus in the 2010s, the group officially returned in 2022 with new singles and a national tour. Throughout their history, the band has shared connections with various figures in the Brazilian alternative and rock scene, including collaborations with artists like Bonde da Stronda.
