Biography

Hilton Vaccari is a Brazilian acoustic guitarist, composer, and music producer, originally from Santa Rosa in Rio Grande do Sul. The musician began his journey with the acoustic guitar at twelve years of age and, in 1978, moved to Porto Alegre, where he began actively performing in music festivals alongside various artists from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Throughout his career, he stood out for his long partnership with accordionist Renato Borghetti, being part of the band Fole from 1990 until 2008. During this period, he participated in the recording of several albums, carried out numerous tours, and composed in partnership with the accordionist, even receiving a nomination for the Sharp Award in 1993 in the instrumental music category with the composition "Cria Nova".

In the year 2000, he founded the instrumental group Quartchêto alongside Julio Rizzo, Luciano Maia, and Ricardo Arenhaldt, combining regional sound with jazz improvisations without the presence of vocals. With the group, he released three albums and accumulated several trophies at the Açorianos Music Award, consolidating his importance in Brazilian instrumental music.
